An icon in North-West Spain and worldwide, Pérez is a legendary winemaker and viticulturist.
Pérez is known as a master of Mencía, a champion of indigenous grapes, with many projects under his belt
In common with all great wine makers, Raúl believes great wine is made in the vineyard and adopts a unique approach to each project.

Raúl Pérez is widely regarded as one of the world’s most talented, innovative, and restless winemakers.
His constant reinvention of his own portfolio and quest to restore old Bierzo vineyards has helped significantly in putting this corner of north-western Spain back on the map.
Meet Stuart
With 15 years experience as a Sommelier and over 20 in the hospitality industry, Stuart Skea learned his craft by working with Scotland's best wine lists and top Sommeliers. His passion sparked over 15 years ago when taking a trip to Bordeaux visiting top Chateaux and estates.
He holds the title of Edinburgh Sommelier of the Year, won the Scottish finals of UK Sommelier of the Year on two occasions, and is a finalist in the first ever UK Master of Port Competition.
